The Walton Bridge stand up paddle board lessons and sessions are a world away from the busy lives we lead offering a relaxed and enjoyable venue with mother nature providing the backdrop.
All of our groups are relatively small with a maximum of 8 allocated to an instructor. This helps us to maintain a fun and active lesson whilst keeping it safe on the river.
All lessons start with land based training for the total beginners and we mix in more advanced techniques for those who have done stand up paddle boarding before.
Once we’ve completed the land based work we move onto the non-tidal part of the river to put into practice the things we’ve been discussing on land.
In the 2 hour session we aim to get you up and paddling around with others on the river. Some people take a little longer to get the feeling of balance, but our kit is designed to give help and support where needed.
Once you’ve completed the intro lessons (minimum 2) and obtained your hours you’ll be able to apply for our SUP Skipper Card. This will give you access to our rental and demo fleet on Saturdays, during our lesson times as well as the popular Adventure paddles on Wednesdays.
